The Scents of the Season: What Are You Looking Forward To This Fall?

Even though summer is just getting started, I have a confession to make…
I’ve already started thinking about fall.
It’s one of the perks of being a soap maker. While most people are enjoying sunshine, backyard pool’s and cookouts, I’m already brainstorming autumn scents, holiday collections, and vendor events that seem far away but will be here before I know it.
One of my favorite parts of preparing for a new season is hearing from customers about the fragrances they look forward to each year.
For some, fall means warm pumpkin treats with the hint of clove fresh from the oven. Others love the scent of crisp apples, cinnamon spices, maple, or rich vanilla. Some prefer woodsy fragrances that remind them of walks through colorful forests and cool evenings around a bonfire.
Scent has a remarkable way of connecting us to memories.
A single fragrance can bring us back to a family gathering, a holiday tradition, or a favorite season. That’s one of the reasons I enjoy creating handcrafted bath and body products. Every scent tells a story.
As I begin planning upcoming fall and winter collections, I’d love your feedback.
What scents make you think of autumn?
Do you reach for pumpkin spice and baked goods? Fresh apple orchard fragrances? Warm woods and cedar with amber? Cozy flannel-inspired scents? Maybe something completely different?
Your suggestions help shape future creations and seasonal offerings here at Country Bathworks.
As the days eventually grow shorter and the leaves begin to change, I look forward to sharing new products, attending upcoming vendor events, and helping customers discover scents that make the season even more enjoyable.
Until then, I’d love to hear from you.
What fall scent are you most excited to see return—or what new scent would you love to try?
Leave a comment and let me know. Your next favorite fragrance may just inspire a future Country Bathworks creation.
